Who do they support?

Cynnal support 22 Secondary Schools, 205 Primary Schools and 10 Special and PRU Schools. A number of these schools use Schoolcomms to message parents, send timetable and exam information to parents, improve attendance, send school reports to parents, manage parent’s evenings and send e-cards. Cynnal are on-hand offering bi-lingual telephone assistance to customers throughout office hours. The Cynnal team regularly attend user group meetings and software update training to keep up to date with the latest developments in the technology.

Cynnal: Who are they?

Established in 1996, as part of the re-organisation of Local Government in Wales, Cynnal has a SIMS Support Department that provides Schools and Local Authorities with Schoolcomms technical support. This includes advising on the application of the software and the information it contains to support the management of whole school effectiveness, for example, assessments, attendance, finance, behaviour, timetabling together with assisting schools to meet with their statutory requirements for Welsh Government and ESTYN.
